Chomik: The Open-Source Language Without Loops or Conditionals

I was born in 1973, in Cracow, Poland. I am a software engineer.
Introducing Chomik: A New Open-Source Language for Creative Coders
Hello, world! I'm excited to officially introduce Chomik, a brand-new open-source programming language. Chomik is designed with a specific philosophy in mind: to be approachable and intuitive for new developers while still offering the power and flexibility needed for ambitious projects.
We believe that coding should be a creative and expressive process, and Chomik's syntax and core principles are built around that idea. We're focusing on simplicity and clarity, making it easier to go from an idea in your head to a working application on the screen.
What makes Chomik unique?
Chomik isn't just another language. It's an experimental language that rethinks some fundamental programming concepts. Unlike most imperative languages, Chomik has no explicit loop commands or conditional instructions. Instead, its design is based on a core set of principles that allow for unique and powerful code construction. A key feature is the ability to build up the names of variables from components, and a focus on using no compound data structures. This approach results in code that is structured differently, encouraging a new way of thinking about problem-solving.
Building with SDL_Chomik
To showcase the creative potential of Chomik, we've developed SDL_Chomik, a dedicated language for building games and graphical applications. Using the popular SDL2 (Simple DirectMedia Layer) library as its foundation, SDL_Chomik provides a clean, easy-to-use API that lets you jump right into creating visual projects. Whether you're making a simple 2D game, a graphical utility, or an art project, SDL_Chomik gives you the tools you need without the steep learning curve.
Join the Community
Chomik is, at its heart, a community project. This is a chance to not only use a new language but to help shape it from the ground up. Your feedback, bug reports, and contributions are invaluable.
We invite you to explore the language, experiment with SDL_Chomik, and share what you create. We'll be using this publication to share regular updates on Chomik's development, post tutorials, and highlight the cool projects our community builds.
The source code for Chomik and SDL_Chomik is available on GitHub. Let's build something amazing together!
